*Borderlands is so much fun! Too bad the story (was there even one?) doesn't make any sense. So 4 guys are on a bus, and the character who the player chooses decides to drop off at a certain stop, and sees hallucinations of a girl ghost and decides to follow all of her instructions... what? And despite what they say, playing a FPS with a console controller (in this case, an Xbox 360 controller) isn't all that bad. Don't think I'll ever play multiplayer for console games tho.
I'll play Borderlands with you :P

ReplyDeleteAnd FPS on a console depends pretty much on the game, but multi on console FPS is at a certain disadvantage to mouse/kb.
Borderlands is fun, but then it gets old quickly. All the quests are either "Go here, and kill X" or "Go here, and collect X number of Y." If you plan on getting the DLC, skip Island of Dr. Zed. Its boring, you get no unique stat boots or skills, and is overall pointless. Multiplayer though is fun with friends, its just like the single-player game unless you do the combat arena for trophy/achevement whoring. Makes the game less tedious to play with friends.

ReplyDeleteThe Island of Dr. Ned has many things interesting. It puts more possible weapon combinations in the game, and adds another Claptrap, which gives you another SDU for both Playthrough 1 and 2, increasing your Backpack to a possible 48 slots.
Thanks to translating this for me Desu. Sakubo was one of my favorite characters from the .hack G.U. series (others are Haseo, Alkaid, Pi, Ovan). The character has multiple personalities (one of young boy Bo and the other an older sister Saku). This is a gay doujin so some might not like this ^_^;

Borderlands is a game you can get lost in, just shootin' and lootin'. The DLC offers extra crap, and a 3rd DLC pack has also been announced and will increase the level cap up from lvl 50 (which kinda annoyed a lot of people since you can get to lvl 50 way before you finish 2nd playthough.)
ReplyDeleteLocal co-op play on a console is annoying since they split the screen certically instead of horizontally and the menus don't even fit on the screen. Co-op online seems to be done pretty well and you'll need to do it a few times to get all the Trophies/Achievements.
Borderlands is more fun on pc, if you ask me. It's just a shame that the DLC and patches are released later for the PC version than any other vers.

Nothing is more bullshit than a properly outfitted firefly siren. Soloing in 4p play is ludicrous.
