How much do you charge?

From $1.5 to 2.0 per page. The price will increase if the manga is unusually wordy or if it will require additional image editing due to text style (text directly on image). The full cost of translation must be paid before I begin working on it. Larger works can be broken into parts and worked on separately if you prefer.

Transactions will be done via paypal.

What do you translate?

Japanese to English for manga. I mostly get commission requests for adult content, though.

How long do you take?

Depends. If it's a short chapter, I can get it done in a day or two if there aren't anything else in my backlog.

Since someone asked...

>"Can we get one of these dolls that you're haa haa over nekkids, and in nice poses and whatnot?"

Σ(;゚Д゚)

Why, I thought you'd never ask!

Rapidshare part 1, part 2

This doll's so famous, she's even got her own fanarts D:

Speaking of which, I spent the whole afternoon building this baby:

DSC02383

It sure took forever (around 7 hours in total? and I skipped building the other arm and the rest of its weapons too,  since Exia Repair is far too cool for them). Don't think I'll be assembling another MG kit for a long, long time =3=

  4. True it usually takes me around that time as well, damn I haven't built a kit since my 00 raiser like a year ago

  5. lol00. I have a pile of UC MGs sitting at home, and a finished MG Dunbine next to me. Thing was a pain in the ass with all it's screws.

    Exia...

I bought that model while in Japan for my best friend's birthday. It is quite the epic model.

  11. Okay I demand you release all your super high-res images of DSC_0048.jpg so that I may use that as my wallpaper.

Also, your loli dolls, hand them over.
    (*´Д`)ハァハァ

And the gaijin doll -> accurate depiction of most western wimminz.

  12. Phy: but those aren't even mine (nor my pictures) ;_;

    I'm too poor to afford these luxury $500 dolls with their equally expensive $50 dresses and accessories ;_;

  13. That Gundam model reminded me of something...remember about 7 or 8 years ago when they had (on American TV) those old Gundam model commercials? They used to show the model and the person that built it and they'd say "Level 2 Gundam, 2 hours" or some such nonsense and at the end they had a guy that I SWEAR looked like Fred Durst, trying to look all badass, saying "Level 5 Gundam...4 HOURS" and acting like he just ended world hunger. PLEASE tell me I'm not the only person that remembers this!

  14. Would it be wrong / inappropriate if I said I almost got an er-hhhectz out of those pictures?

  15. >I’m too poor to afford these luxury $500 dolls
No magic for 3 months -> enough saved for doll.

    ReplyDelete
  16. ME!: but I spend like... only $40 per month on that game (I play only drafts and the occasional Sealed). Heck, I trade off whatever cards I get anyway, so the total expense is lower than that =3=

  17. Oh FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
I remember that fucking commerical. Didn't it air when Gundam Wing was super popular? Shit was so cash in the 5th grade.

  18. izzat a 1:1 doll I see there?

  19. It's always nice that you show people all the stuff you buy, through your little "courtesy of" releases.

I'm just glad that most people out there also scanlate for free, or the manga scanlation scene would be a wasteland.

  20. The Exia Repair model looks mean! Ahh... a nostalgic feeling surfs up. I wonder when was the last time I'd assemble my Gunpla?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Not that I could afford one, but out of curiosity could you please tell the manufacturer and name of that doll?
I'm afraid if I had the chance (meaning enough money and importing opportunity) I would totally buy one.

  22. Ok, I'll make sure to always download from the (/â—” â—¡ â—”)/ links from now on.
I'm assuming you're getting points or whatnot that you can exchange for cash from those links.

  24. @desudesu:
Ah, I see. Do you think you could ask the guy who took the pics, then? Seriously, I'd like to use her for a wallpaper. ( ゚Д゚)

On another request, could you give me Nizoma's(or whatever it is) name to me in kanji format?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Phy:
I don't know who took those pictures. Just got the archive off /jp/ a while back =o

I *think* the pics came from this dude's blog, though:
    http://ameblo.jp/oosm/

Just click on his doll tag "テーマ:ドール" and download the picture archives that he posts from time to time.

  26. By just comparing the two images, I just think...

XD that is a pretty nice comparison between the poseability of a MG Gundam Model (I've got a MG Destiny, from Seed Series) and those dolls up there...

o.O guess if my Gundam can do the same "characteristical" poses...

    Anyways, greetings from Brazil.
