ReplyDeleteThe worms were actually among the more halfway believable things they did. And considering how bodily fluids in general containing magic (remember Rin applying blood to her gems?) was well-established, sex seems an easy way to do it.

ReplyDeleteI've watched the show and I've heard a couple of things about the other routes, so that's coming as a huge shock to me. I knew Gramps put some weird ass magical worms in her and junk, but penisworms? *Really*?

well they weren't exactly penis worms(iirc) but then again they didn't really dwell on it, they ended up in the same places tho
ReplyDeleteThey weren't just there. There were integrated with her nerves, so if she didn't follow commands, they'd continually sap her magical energy, eventually crippling her.
ReplyDeleteShe was quite literally re-programmed from the time she was five years old. Hell, we don't even know how the worms were satiated before she entered puberty. There were even parts of the game that told the player implicitly that she was stimulated by an increase in hormone production and most likely the pleasure center of her brain to drown her in false ecstasy, which given enough time, will have anyone entranced(which is why the slut meme is just silly). This is while having a low amount of magical energy flowing through her body, which must have felt like drowning in water constantly. If you're being forcefully held underwater, you would try to get some air before you drown.
The only people that she ever really killed herself was her 'grandfather'(deserved it) Shinji (deserved it) Kotomine -kinda (still definitely deserved it) and True Assassin (same as the other three). The curse within her was the one who ate people in town while she slept, in order to feed itself.
I've seen this doujin before. The cover is so promising, making it look like a potentially sweet Shirou/Sakura doujin, but sadly, that's not the case. Maybe you'll do a Shirou/Sakura doujin in the future? Something along the lines of Plug-In R for Persona 4?

[Fate/stay night Spoilers]
(The original scene explaining them being the one where Shinji forces Sakura to use her second Command Spell to create a new command book for controlling Rider after his first one was destroyed during his previous battle with Saber)
The thing everyone was talking about controlling Sakura and turning her nympho and all was the Crest Worm, basically a Magic Crest fused with a worm familiar, which was actually the core of Matou Zouken (he can't be killed as long as it still exists). Its purpose within her body was to transform her magic circuit to make it suitable for using Matou family magecraft, though it also gives Zouken the ability to take complete and permanent control of her body at a time of his choosing (which is its main purpose for being there). It's the thing that Sakura ripped out of her own heart, made a mocking comment at how small Zouken turned out to be, then crushed it between her fingers near the end of Heaven's Feel, in this semi-famous scene:

The lust worms themselves are familiars which also compose Zouken's body (btw, he's supposed to be a vampire, technically...). They are mostly made to gather nutrients to extend Zouken's life. If a lust worm gets hold of a man, it will suck out his brains. When attacking a woman, the lust worms attach to her nerves, cover her skin with mucus, and excite her pleasure centers. They fry her brain with massive orgasms and then devour the contents of her womb (this is where they get their name from).
They have the secondary characteristic that they can devour a person and transform his/her body into a new body for Zouken if his previous body is badly damaged or destroyed, mapping its characteristics from Zouken's soul, so he ends up as a crippled old man no matter what.

ReplyDeleteOh, and Sakura's whole corruption thing along with her health and mana related problems (actually, just most of anything that was actually important with her) was actually from a fragment of the Holy Grail which was embedded within her along with the Crest Worm 10 years ago. It was all due to a link formed from that to Avenger, similar to a Master/Servant contract, where Avenger was feeding off of her in order to grow the contents of the Grail.
Which is why the little trick with Shirou projecting Rule Breaker worked to return her to normal in the end, with its feature to cancel a contract between a Master and Servant.

ReplyDeleteAh, now the doujin makes sense. I thought it was weird when Rider mentioned the grail being inside her towards the end, since I heard the whole plot for the franchise was the fight for the very grail itself.

I did not feel like writing a book on something that everybody already knows from playing FSN or doesn't care about, having never played it. You should avoid calling people wrong for such a stupid fucking reason, I simply didn't want to type out pretty much EVERY MAIN PLOT POINT in the Heaven's Feel route to explain it to people who, as stated, either are fans of FSN and already knew it, or who aren't fans and don't care.
Hm, sorry for going INTERNET DEFENDER on you. I simply didn't type out all of that because the shard of the holy grail, Zouken, corruption, avenger.. etc, because none of that makes very much sense to anyone who hasn't played FSN. The only plot point I thought of that made sense to someone who hadn't, was what I stated.
