ReplyDeleteI can safely say that, as a person who have a little sister irl, they can be awesomely cute. I wouldn't want to feel sexually attracted to her, and neither would I want her to be to me, but it works really well in hentai.

If we go by manga, games, and anime we're all blondes except when we're African American, know how to use guns, get into lots of fights, and have constant sex.

ReplyDeleteMost countries with a fairly homogeneous demographic are xenographic to a point, at least, the ones that I'm familiar with. I think for us western posters it's harder to understand because here in America, Canada, or even the UK we live and talk to people of different backgrounds every day.

Japan is very xenophobic and racist sometimes. Just depends on where you go. When I went to Osaka and stayed in the city, they were more curious. When I went trout fishing in the mountains, the locals weren't so friendly to the 'white barbarian'.
ReplyDeleteThat being said, I lol at the weird parts explained with "From America". I wonder if Japanese realize that many foreigners think they are one of the weirdest nations?
I also laugh at the fact that Japanese men yearn for white women so much. I have seen shit tons of stories, both erotic and normal where a white, or half white girl is the main female character. I am still waiting for a story where a Japanese girl gets with a white guy.
Which would probably be more common in the West, from the man's perspective. Woman on both sides rarely get noticed in mainstream erotica, which might be why we have so much god awful slash fanfiction.
