How much do you charge?

From $1.5 to 2.0 per page. The price will increase if the manga is unusually wordy or if it will require additional image editing due to text style (text directly on image). The full cost of translation must be paid before I begin working on it. Larger works can be broken into parts and worked on separately if you prefer.

Transactions will be done via paypal.

What do you translate?

Japanese to English for manga. I mostly get commission requests for adult content, though.

How long do you take?

Depends. If it's a short chapter, I can get it done in a day or two if there aren't anything else in my backlog.

2 Honey Bump Sekirei doujins

Since both are by the same circle, and are doujins based on the same series, might as well bundle them up =3=

Here's a new release, courtesy of Omega999. Enjoy your Sekireis =3=

  1. No offense to desudesu or any of you.

    If there's one thing I hate more than parodies would have to be parodies of ecchi or ero comics. Blargh. I shall now drown my continuing sorrows in this keg of beer I bought. Woohoo!

    I dunno, anything that's good with the masses, I suppose. I have no idea what games I'd like to play, since I don't really read gaming news anymore (other than the weekly Yathzee video review), so I only know about games that are really popular or have some hype around it

  10. There are around 10 worthwhile games for the wii out of somewhere in the neighborhood of 500. You will use it for a month and then it will be a paperweight unless you're into gimmicks in case you will buy wii fit use it for 2 months and then not touch it again until NMH2 comes out.

  12. The only bad thing about wii is most of games are shit. Well, my recommendation is

    every Nintendo's title, like mario galaxy (3d platform) , wario land: shake it ( 2d platform)
    oboro muramasa ( 2d hacknslash)
    no more hero (3d beat them up)
    mad world (3d beat them up)
    boom blox ( casual puzzle)
    chocobo dungeon (dungeon crawler) <- my favorite game on wii, it's shame that no one mention it, ever http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idtD5HnloEI&feature=related

  13. I seriously love Sekirei. Maa, if we're discussing the Wii, I only know about mindless fun games, e.g. SSB Brawl, Raving Rabbids, Tatsunoko vs Capcom.

    It just depends on the sort of gamer you are, if you want all those story heavy things, you're better off with 360 or PS3, or even just going on to Visual Novels. But then you won't have enough time to translate :P

  14. *takes a look at games shelf*
    I'd recommend:
    * Mario Galaxy
    * Zelda TP
    * Smash Brawl
    * Okami
    * Mario Kart Wii
    * No More Heroes
    * Madworld
    * Tatsunoko vs Capcom
    * Muramasa
    * Metroid Prime Trilogy

  15. I think Oboro Muramasa would be a good bet, due to its hype among the critics.

  16. Try "Dead Rising: Chop till you Drop" for the Wii.

    Unless you already have the original Xbox 360 version.

  17. What Keikun696 and Cube said.

    Rentals:
    - Excite Truck
    - Paper Mario (finish it and that's it)
    - ANIMU GAEMS

  18. Many thanx Desu and Omega999, For this cute stories.

  19. How about Tales of Symphonia: Knights of Ratatosk (sp?)

    Don't have a Wii, but since the first one was fun I expect this one to be good nonetheless.

  20. @anon156;

    Don't know if you noticed, but its 2009 now. The Wii has a good library of games. What you've spouted is basically the rethoric spouted among fanboys in 2005.

    Dont know if its already been said, but games you HAVE to get and are some of the best on the Wii:

    -MadWorld (30 bucks new, worth it)
    -NMH
    -NMH2 next year
    -Muramasa
    -Brawl
    -Galaxy 1 (and 2 next year)
    -Metroid trilogy (if you havent played it on the GCN)
    -MM9
    -Warioland shake it (BUY IT BUY IT BEAUTIFUL GAME)
    -Tatsunoko vs Capcom

    These are the games I currently have/will get

    but other games I've kept my eye on and have received praise, yet I stayed away from for various reasons;

    -Paper Mario
    -Little Kings Story
    -Boom Blox
    -De Blob
    -World of Goo
    -Mario Kart Wii
    -The Conduit

    then there are ports like Okami, Dead Rising (haven't tried it, but I HIGHLY doubt its as good as the one on the 360), theres also Guilty Gear and RE4, Twilight Princess is good if you haven't played it as well, but you might as well get the GCN version if its on discount. It's overall a solid console, just avoid all the crapware and you'll be fine.

  22. I don't know, you might as well just get some rips of the boss conversations for NMH. In my opinion it was mostly running around doing mini games for money in a GTA-esque fashion (minus the fun), just to get to one repetitive boss level after another. Then again, the dialog is rather hilarious at times, and they don't use the "lol i has a sword" wii-mote concept. I prefer button mashing over remote swinging.
    I just hope that Suda51 change some things for the sequel.

    Can add that playing Mario Kart online with a friend is surprisingly fun. Random as hell, but fun. Wish I could say that same about Brawl's online function...

  23. HA! I KNEW the Wii would finally drop! My faith was rewarded!

    BTW, have you or any of your acquaintances translated any Gin-yoku Screw works yet?

    ReplyDelete
  24. I always knew post reply's where random as hell but from Sekirei pron to wii fit thats something

    thanks for the release I lvoe both the main manga and its H offshots *mostly*

  25. Get Okami before you buy anything else. I bought it back in the day on the PS2 and loved it from the first second. It sold really poorly, which just boggles my mind considering how awesome it is.

    *google images* Don't think I've ever worked on anything from him, brah.
