Toranoana freebies from buying Koufuku Graffiti vol 1~4. Toranoana is brotier. |
I thought of importing the content there, and I get a 21mb xml file out of the content export. Blogger doesn't seem to accept the .xml file (it gets stuck at "writing blog post" status). I've followed this site's advice: http://www.mybloggertricks.com/2012/11/convert-wordpress-blog-to-blogger.html
Which tells me to convert the export file I get from Wordpress, and convert it to a Blogger-friendly format on this site: http://wordpress2blogger.appspot.com/
Thing is, that site only accepts wordpress export file that is less than 1mb (mine is 21mb. Containing all the posts and pages on the previous site).
Anyone have any idea how I could import it over?
Update:
Looks like I'm fucked. I've tried two methods of importing the old content into this site. Somehow it doesn't load completely (check the side archive bar. It starts to fail from 2010 onwards). I guess I'll just have to start anew.
Omake 1:
For those who haven't been following my blog, this site had its humble beginnings back in 2008, with the first site:
https://desudesu0.wordpress.com/
Come late 2008, I was offered a domain of myself, which was:
http://desudesu.me/
That site is going to be plugged off the internet on 31st Jan 2015, and will be continued on this very site.
Omake 2:
Desudesu goes to Japan, returns with a luggage case full of mostly lewd doujins and H-tankobons:
two black doujin cases stuffed with lewds, tankobons and some more doujins had to be placed on top of them |
Maybe this steps can help you migrate ?

That really helps. Thanks!
DeletePlace all the old content in a torrent file and make it as a constant downloadable file incase anyone wants to go back to the old content and start fresh. I always find this easier to get around than having to convert files.
ReplyDeleteI second this.
DeleteSorry to go off topic, but where did you get those black plastic cases? I've been trying to find something like that to store my physical H-Manga. Or any recommendations in general for H-Manga storage (since I'm assuming you've accrued a pretty hefty amount over the years)?
ReplyDeleteThose things were easily available in doujin shops (toranoana, melonbooks).
